A recent poll of our customers has pointed to the fluctuating and often high costs of industrial video recorders as being a major concern. In response to our customers concerns, LRC has instituted the first, fully qualified, flat rate pricing program for industrial video recorders.
What is flat rate pricing?
In it's simplest terms, it is a way for you, the customer, to avoid being nickeled and dimmed to death by the cost of seemingly endless lists of repair parts and labor. You pay one price dependent upon the level of service your industrial Equipment requires with very few exceptions. There are four levels of repair with Flat Rate pricing for industrial Equipment repair. They are: Cleaning, Update, Over-haul and Rebuild.

Flat rate pricing means quicker turnaround for your repairs
Flat rate pricing also allows our technicians to get busy fixing your machine instead of losing valuable time waiting for estimate approval. Without the need for estimates the overall turnaround time can drop by four days or more (based upon estimate response averages). This means higher satisfaction for everyone.
Less Confusing
LRC includes both parts and labor into one rate for the repair of industrial Equipment. Standard parts, labor, troubleshooting and testing are all included. With 19 years of experience and over twenty thousand recorder repairs behind us, you can count on LRC to provide you with the latest innovations and programs to increase your CCTV profits and cut down on your CCTV stress.
Technical or Mechanical Troubleshooting
In the event that a recorder requires technical or mechanical troubleshooting, this will be done at a rate of $70.00 per hour plus parts. This amount will be added above the cost of one of the four flat rates (Cleaning, Update, Overhaul, Rebuild). In the event that a unit requires only technical or mechanical troubleshooting and/or repair, but not an Update, Overhaul or Rebuild, the unit will be billed as a Cleaning with additional time billed in fifteen minute increments at a rate of $70.00 per hour plus parts.
All technical and/or mechanical repairs that are done in addition to a rebuild will be called or sent out to the customer in the form of an estimate prior to the actual work being performed or billed by LRC.
Cosmetic Repairs
Cosmetic repairs will be billed in addition to; Cleaning, Update, Overhaul, or Rebuild. Cosmetic repairs will be billed on a straight parts only basis unless the part being replaced adds more than thirty additional minutes to the normal repair.
In the event that a cosmetic repair requires more than thirty minutes of labor, the additional labor will be billed in fifteen minute increments at a rate of $70.00 per hour. Cosmetic repairs will not be billed in excess of one additional hour of service.

Cleaning - $65.00
Cleaning will include the complete lube, cleaning, alignment, and testing of a recorder. Cleaning will not include the replacement of any cosmetic parts. These will be added at the cost of parts with no additional labor, unless extremely time consuming or difficult to replace (see cosmetic repair).
Update - $140.00
An Update will include the complete lube, cleaning, alignment and replacement of all rubber parts, tension straps, lift arm, worm gears, update kits and other similar parts which are necessary to bring the unit back to like-new condition. In addition the unit will be run through a complete diagnostic test for a minimum of twelve hours. Updates will not include the replacement of bearings, motors, video heads or cosmetic parts. Cosmetic parts will be added at the cost of parts with no additional labor, unless extremely time consuming or difficult to replace (see cosmetic repair).
Overhaul - $240.00
An Overhaul includes work performed in an Update plus the replacement of the video heads, hour meter (where applicable), and replacement of the flywheel and/or flywheel bearings where necessary. The unit will be run through a complete diagnostic test for a minimum of twelve hours. Overhauls will not include the replacement of bearings (other than flywheel bearings) or motors. Technical or mechanical troubleshooting problems are limited to thirty minutes additional time. Additional time beyond the thirty minutes spent on electronic or mechanical troubleshooting will be billed in fifteen minute increments at the base rate of $70.00 per hour plus parts. An Overhaul will not include the replacement of any cosmetic parts. These will be added at the cost of parts with no additional labor, unless extremely time consuming or difficult to replace (see cosmetic repair).
Rebuild - $275.00
A Rebuild is the same as an Overhaul with the addition of the replacement of any bearings, capstan motors, driver IC, STK IC and/or other such related motors and parts necessary to insure that the unit is brought back to like-new condition. In addition, the rebuilt unit will be run through a complete diagnostic test for a period of a minimum of twelve hours and not to exceed twenty four hours. Technical or mechanical troubleshooting problems are limited to thirty minutes additional time with some parts included. Additional time beyond the included thirty minutes spent on electronic or mechanical troubleshooting will be billed in fifteen minute increments at the base rate of $70.00 hour plus parts. A Rebuild will not include the replacement of any cosmetic parts. These will be added at the cost of parts with no additional labor, unless extremely time consuming or difficult to replace (see cosmetic repair).
