Warranty vs. Non-Warranty Repair

Under Warranty refers to the manufacturer giving LRC full authority to repair, as the manufacturer's service representative, equipment shipped to LRC under the manufacturer specifications of warranty. LRC has always been extremely fussy as to which manufacturer's it will represent in the industrial CCTV market. This is to help insure that we are able to offer complete and professional repairs to our customers at all times. If a manufacturer has authorized an independent service center to act as a warranty center, that independent also has the complete services designed around the non-warranty items. An independent that has the manufacturer's warranty authority does not mean that the service center is authorized for the manufacturers full line of equipment. LRC is a full service repair center and is authorized across the board with all of our industrial CCTV manufacturers for everything that they authorize to be repaired at outside sources.

Emergency "Flag" Repairs

This service is for the unit that absolutely must have fast guaranteed turnaround. A phone call prior to shipment assures it top priority check-out and repair. There is a minimal charge for this service, but if the unit is not repaired and shipped within a minimum 24 hour period the flag charge is dropped.

Call in Assistance

Equipment Tracking

LRC can provide a computer print out of your company's repair history. For a $25.00 reporting charge, we will provide you with a complete history including model numbers, serial numbers, receipt dates, shipping dates, charges, work orders and more. Invaluable help in planning your budget accurately!

Special Repairs

At LRC we take pride in the ability to adapt to your needs. We will gear up for any reasonable request in your repair work. This includes the purchase of manuals, test equipment and the stocking of inventory repair parts. In this way, we are able to offer a complete range of video repairs customized around your repair needs.

Getting FAST Repair Service

Important information prior to sending equipment to LRC, include the following with all equipment shipments

  • An RMA # is not necessary for repairs
  • A contact name with a telephone and fax number for estimate approval and/or in case we have questions about the equipment
  • Describe what the piece of equipment was or was not doing causing the need for repair. Be as specific as possible
  • Include completed Repair Form
  • Include a Purchase Order or Packing Slip with the ship to and bill to address
  • Detailed shipping instructions if the equipment is to be returned by means other than UPS Ground
  • There will be a charge for estimates if the unit is not repaired by LRC
Packing Instructions

Since we try to return all repaired items in the same containers that they were received in, YOU MUST PACK YOUR EQUIPMENT WELL! Always leave at least two to three inches of space between your equipment and the outside of the container. This space should be filled with packing materials which will protect the equipment from hard knocks by your carrier. (See the diagram)

Payment Policy and Credit Terms

LRC's intentions are to work with all of our customers in order to establish and maintain a good credit rating. We are always open to a phone call informing us of a late payment for one reason or another. This simple form of communication can be the difference in retaining your credit standing with LRC.

Terms are Net 30 from the date of invoice for those with credit approval. A Finance Charge of 2% per month (24% per annum) will be added to invoices not paid per terms.
